mealy’s Cycles (formerly obvious as Wedgwood’s) has been helping cyclists around the Mornington Peninsula for over 45 years. Peter and Melissa Seal took over the business in 2002 and focused on providing the superior customer service and the widest range of family bikes and accessories this side of the city. Peter is a third generation Mornington local and believes in giving back to the community which has supported him over the years. mealy’s Cycles is strongly involved in the local community and provides encourage for bike education to many local schools, sponsors a lot of local events and sporting clubs and young local riders, helping them to attain their dreams. Come in and say Hello’ to the team, or present them a beep in their mealy’s van! Our stores are the heart beat of what we do! We have created a gracious fun environment so that everyone who walks through the doors feels at home. The floor is always stocked with an extensive range of bikes and accessories. If we don’t happen to have something you are looking for we’ll order it in for you. We really believe in the Try prior you Buy’ policy and encourage people to jump on a bike and go for a spin. You need to know if you are snug on your bike and that it suits your needs prior you purchase it. Drop into our stores, have a wander around and snatch one of the team for a chat or some advice all the staff are riders themselves and they really know their stuff. mealy’s Cycles provides urge for bike education to a number of schools on the Mornington Peninsula. The Bike Education program provides young cyclists with road safety education, bike and helmet maintenance tips and bike handling skills. mealy’s also sponsors the Dromana Secondary Schools Elite Cycle Program which teaches students precious skills and knowledge about bicycle maintenance, race skills, and improves student fitness. As well as schools, mealy’s is also involved in supporting and running a number of community events including BM and scooter competitions and local cycling events such as the annual Arthur Seat Bay 2 Bay.
