Crib point medical centre (cpmc) is located next to local shops at intersection of stony point rd and disney rd. It is less than 5 minute walk to railway station and bus stop. The medical centre includes physiotherapy, psychologists, pathology collection, podiatrist and audiologist. Easy car parking, disabled and ambulance access enable us to cater for people with disabilities. We have a comfortable air conditioned waiting room. Records are all confidential. All areas of the clinic have their own networked computer terminal to enable efficient communication and record keeping. We can manage minor fractures and injuries. We also have recall system to remind patients about appointments using sms and letters. We have a system in place to triage medical problems that present, so that when serious or life threatening, they will be seen promptly. We are fully versed in the care of medical problems and have resuscitation equipment, inr testing, spiro meter, ecg, nebuliser, liquid nitrogen, oxygen, ultrasound cleaning and sterilisation facilities available. We have 2 treatment beds, one of which is designed to accommodate urgent cases. We are fully equipped for general practice needs and pathology collection. Other related health professionals such as audiologist, podiatrist, psychologist, physiotherapist and dietician etc will be providing services from crib point medical centre on as session basis for convenience of crib point medical centre patients. It is expected that 3 doctors (at least two female doctors) supported by practice nurse will be working at medical centre. Crib point medical centre (cpmc) is opening in second half of year 2008. Cpmc?s location is close to hmas cerberus navy base. A vast range of services are available at medical centre with a large focus on preventive health, travel medicine, immunisation, skin checks, obesity, (including vaccinations and medical travel advice) and women's health.
